It looks a bit scifi, even though the filter looks like a real one from WW2. The un-smoothness of it is perfect.

I have a bit of noob question, mainly because I've never gotten around to trying it, but how do you setup this kind of "demo" environment in a 3D program? In my experience, you always get this infinite plane and it looks like a really ugly horizon, how do you get the nice gradient the also looks like it's the floor as well as the sky without any borders?

And as far as the headmodels go, what kind of texture is that, just a simple plain white, or does it have any properties that I should pay attention to?
